These Terms of Service govern your use of the Chrome extension Google Drive File Picker (ChatGPT Compatible) (the “Extension”). By installing or using the Extension, you agree to these Terms.
1. Purpose of the Extension
The Extension helps users browse and select files from their own Google Drive and attach them through file upload interfaces on supported websites such as ChatGPT.
2. User eligibility
You must comply with applicable laws and the policies of the Chrome Web Store and Google services. If you use the Extension on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have the authority to do so.
3. Google account access and permissions
The Extension uses Google OAuth via the Chrome Identity API to request permission to access Google Drive. The Extension requests read only access to Drive in order to list files and download a file only when you explicitly choose a file.
You can revoke access at any time from your Google Account permissions page. Uninstalling the Extension stops further access.
4. Data handling
The Extension processes data locally in your browser. It does not send your Google Drive files to any developer controlled server. It does not sell user data.

5. Acceptable use
- Do not use the Extension to violate laws, platform rules, or the rights of others.
- Do not attempt to bypass access controls or misuse Google APIs.
- Do not reverse engineer or abuse the Extension to harm systems or users.
6. No warranties
The Extension is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Functionality may change due to updates in browsers, supported websites, or Google services. No guarantee is made that it will be error free or uninterrupted.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or business, arising from your use of the Extension.
8. Changes to the Extension or Terms
The Extension and these Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest revision.
